Capra's Kitchen

We went to Capra’s kitchen to celebrate my younger daughter’s birthday. We went there around noon so that we would have access to brunch menu. And the lunch menu. We had the famous Hipster toast, Porchetta Benny with the original Porchetta and one with smoked salmon from the brunch menu. Beautiful presentation. Very well seasoned and enjoyed every bit From the lunch menu we had Beef filled Tortellini and Fettuccine-Roma Toronto and Mushroom and Italian Prochutto Very creamy . Freshly made pasta tasted great. Our server was excellent went over and beyond and surprised my daughter with a birth candle on a very tasty Pistachio cake Atmosphere is very warm homely and welcoming

This place was absolutely fantastic. We started with a Calabrese pizza to share. Then we ordered a Tagliatelle Al Ragu Bolognese and a Bistecca Americana. For dessert, we ordered a Tiramisu and a pistachio and ricotta cake, and OMG was that amazing. Didn't even have time to take a photo(maybe next time)

The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. However, when we first arrived, we were left unattended for about half an hour with no service, which was disappointing. I did notice that our server made a clear effort afterward, checking in more often and ensuring our food came out quickly, which I appreciate. Still, that initial delay left a lasting impression and impacted the overall experience.

Been wanting to come here for a while after following the chef on TikTok. The food is wonderful - very home-like, rich flavours. The dips (even though not really Italian) were extremely flavourful and the bread served with it super soft and fresh. The pasta dishes were good, particularly the shrimp linguine off the prix fixe menu. The bolognese sauce was pretty rich, though I would have preferred a more intense flavour. They didn’t offer any cheese with the pastas and it didn’t occur to me to ask. Maybe it just needed some cheese. The Panna cotta dessert was really smooth. Would definitely want more of that.

I had an amazing dining experience at Capra's Kitchen! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I ordered the calamari, tortellini, and risotto, which were cooked to perfection. The wine selection was impressive, but there wasn't much of a whiskey collection. The cocktails were perfect; not watered down. I'll definitely be coming back.

It had been a while since I’d indulged in some hearty Italian food, and I was seriously craving a good bowl of pasta. We were seated right away, and our server couldn’t have been more welcoming—even recommending his favorite cocktails to get the night started. The menu is full of shareable pastas and appetizers, making it perfect for a relaxed night out with friends. We ordered their bruschetta and tuna tartare as our starters. For the mains, we both ordered their ravioli and bolognese. The bruschetta we ordered was light and refreshing, with exceptionally sweet tomatoes. The tuna tartare was incredibly fresh and paired perfectly with the crispy taro chips. Both pasta dishes we tried were delicious and satisfying, with the ravioli standing out for its rich, cheesy filling.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit. Our server Matthew was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive, his recommendations were spot on. We started with the grilled calamari and it was perfectly cooked and tasty. Our mains were the lamb shank and seafood risotto were were delicious and had depth of flavour. Our meal ended perfectly with tiramisu and pistachio and ricotta cake, absolutely scrumptious. Thank you for a lovely dinner and helped us make our 35th anniversary a memorable one. Any chain of Chef Massimo Capra never disappoints. It was the best brunch I have ever had. Staff are highly trained and present in an upscale manner. We were given the time we needed and not rushed. Every dish is executed with creativity while keeping the Italian style in them. Our dishes were very filling and the prices were just right for them. The Labneh was a great starter dish, it was smooth creamy and had the right balance of sweetness, olive oil and pistachio. The Lemon cheesecake cocktail goes good with the stuffed pancakes or stuffed French toast.
